Our Services:
Laser Cutting
Our Mitsubishi 8kW Fiber Laser is our newest equipment in the mix. Capable of cutting up to 1” stainless, this machine will accomplish any sheet metal job necessary - big or small. The clean quality edges require minimal finishing before shipment.
Another benefit is minimal scrap - fiber lasers allow products to nest throughout a full sheet metal blank - we no longer need to recycle large portions of metal and create waste.
Contact us today to learn more about our fiber laser capabilities. We are excited to have this new machine on our shop floor as it opens up many doors for our new and existing customers.
Punching
Punching is a common fabrication process that uses a punch press to create holes or shapes in metal by applying pressure. Without the right equipment, you risk uneven holes, misaligned patterns, or damaged materials, which can compromise the quality of your project.
Whether you’re working on custom enclosures for electrical panels, precision-cut brackets for construction equipment, or decorative metalwork for architectural projects, our 30-ton punch press delivers clean, precise cuts that meet your exact specifications. Working with Norco Precision means you avoid the costly mistakes and delays that come from manual or less accurate machinery.
Shearing
When you're cutting large panels for custom signage, precision sheets for HVAC systems, or structural components for industrial equipment, our 10’ x ¼” hydraulic shear ensures smooth, accurate cuts. We handle steel and aluminum up to ¼” thick, as well as 7-gauge stainless steel, reducing the need for rework and keeping your project on track.
If done improperly, shearing can result in jagged edges, uneven cuts, and wasted material, which can disrupt your entire project and lead to additional costs.
Tapping & Countersinking
When it’s time to assemble components for machinery, secure metal enclosures, or mount brackets for industrial applications, we can tap and countersink holes of all sizes to meet your specific needs.
Tapping and countersinking are essential fabrication processes that create threaded holes and conical recesses for fasteners, ensuring a secure fit. Without the proper equipment and expertise, you risk weak connections, stripped threads, or misaligned fasteners, which can jeopardize the integrity of your project.
Deburring & Polishing
When it’s time to finalize your project, all of the finished goods undergo thorough deburring and polishing to ensure they meet the highest standards. Your products will be ready for use or presentation with a presentable finish, free of any sharp edges.
If these steps are overlooked, you risk working with items that are unsafe to handle and visually unappealing.
Forming
Weak bends or misaligned parts can significantly compromise the structural integrity of your project, and that’s the last problem you need. When it’s time to shape metal for applications like custom HVAC ducts or structural beams for commercial construction, we offer forming capabilities of up to 10 feet long and 135 tons.
Welding
When you need to a welding job done for projects like building machinery, fabricating structural frameworks, or creating custom metal enclosures, we offer a handful of solutions:
TIG Welding: Best for applications requiring precision and clean finishes, such as welding thin materials like stainless steel designs in medical equipment.
MIG Welding: Ideal for high-speed production and thicker materials, making it perfect for fabricating structural steel beams for construction or heavy-duty equipment.
Resistance (Spot) Welding: Commonly used for joining sheet metal, this method is perfect for automotive manufacturing, where quick, reliable welds are needed to assemble car bodies.
Stud Welding: Great for attaching studs or fasteners to metal surfaces, often used in construction for attaching metal decking to beams or for electrical connections in various applications.
Assembly
If your project needs assembly, please mention it at the start so we can include it in your quote. Whether you're assembling complex machinery, constructing structural components, or putting together custom metal enclosures, we can work it into your project. By letting us know your requirements early on, we can ensure a smooth and efficient assembly process that meets your timelines.
Hardware Insertion
We can handle all your hardware insertion needs for sheet metal, whether it’s bolts, screws, or other fasteners. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll take care of it! Our process ensures that everything is securely attached and ready for your projects, simplifying your assembly process.
Engineering Design Services
Our quoting team will review all designs from your engineering team and either approve or make suggested edits for your review. We are here to add value to ensure you have the best product possible.
